Background
The firm was founded by Jean and Philippe Paris–Laplace in 1908. The Paris-Laplace brothers founded the firm with the vision of creating a legal organization combining traditional values with a strong innovative spirit. Philippe Paris-Lapace contributed to the firm his professional experience gained practicing law in Europe and the United States.
Since its foundation, the firm developed a strong practice in the areas of litigation and collections. In the 70’s the firm expanded its services to the corporate area. Then, at the beginning of the 90’s, the firm started to develop the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and agribusiness.
At present, the firm is headed by Martín R. Bourel PhD, third generation lawyer, and staffed with a team of young and talented lawyers graduated from prestigious national and foreign universities. The firm’s lawyers have broad experience in both day-to-day and transactional work.
Recently, the firm adopted an organizational structure open to new lawyers and during this first decade of the new millennium enjoys a new era of sustained growth based on the values and spirit imprinted by its founders.
